Polyisocyanurate – Overview
Polyisocyanurate is basically an improvement on polyurethane and is produced as foam which displays excellent fire retardent characteristics. Polyisocyanurate is thermally more stable than polyurethane with disintegration starting at temperatures above 400°C.Application
Polyisocyanurate core insulated panels (PIR) are fire rated and suitable for use in all hygienic and temperature controlled or ambient environments.
Temperature ranges which these are suitable for range from +120°C to -40°C where there is a requirement for a marriage between thermal efficiency and fire/insurance approval. The polyisocyanurate panels come with a steel facing finish and there is an extensive range of coating finishes available.
Insulation Core
This is a closed Cell CFC & HCFC free Zero ODP core material, with very efficient insulating properties. Panels are available with a core thickness ranging from 50mm to 200mm.Our personnel will help you specify which core thicknessis required dependant on, panel wall height required, ceiling panel span and fire rating to be achieved.
